Margo has over forty-five years of sewing experience. She graduated in 1991 from the University of New Brunswick with her Education degree in Home Economics. Margo has thirty-three years of teaching experience in the public school system and has been teaching sewing to children, teens and adults for thirty years. She has taught home economics in middle school, shared her joy of sewing with her elementary students and has taught adults through the City of Saint John Recreational Department as well as sewing and quilting workshops at the SJ Arts Centre. Margo retired from the public school system in June 2024 and is ready to focus full-time on Stitch SJ!
